Now Enrolling: Free Full-time Preschool for eligible families!


We’re excited to share that families may now apply for FREE Full-time Preschool through the Preschool Expansion Grant for the 2026–2027 school year!


Who Qualifies?


Children who are three or four years old are eligible if your household income is at or below 300% of the 2026 Federal Poverty Level.  If your household income is between 300% and 600%, your child is eligible for reduced cost Prekindergarten based on a sliding scale.  Details on the sliding scale are forthcoming from the Maryland State Department of Education.

ABOUT KID CITY!

Kid City is a licensed childcare center operated by Freedom Church in Rising Sun, MD. We offer Preschool and Before and After School Programs for the Rising Sun community.

 


Our professional and dedicated team nurtures and educates preschool and school-age children according to their individual needs. Our students will grow socially and academically through age-appropriate play, small-group instruction, and group activities. We provide a stable, secure learning environment that creates a solid educational foundation for each student.
