FUll-time Preschool 3 & 4
Our Full-time Preschool 3 & 4 Program meets Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm with optional Before and/or After Care.

preschool 3 Program
At age three, our program focuses on helping children make the transition from a concentration on language development to overall social development and cooperative learning skills.
- Teachers identify where children are developmentally and plan accordingly
- Learning through play encourages creativity and the sense of being part of the classroom community
- Phonetic awareness begins through group activities
- Social skills and self-confidence are strengthened through positive relationships with peers and teachers
Our Part-time Preschool 3 meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-12pm.
Our Full-time Preschool 3 Program meets Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm with optional Before and/or After Care.
Preschool 4 Program
At age four, children are transitioning to independent learners. Their days become more structured through guided exploration.
- Teachers identify where children are developmentally and plan accordingly
- Learning through play encourages creativity and imagination
- Phonetic awareness is extended into math, science, and socials studies
- Social skills and self-confidence are strengthened through positive relationships with peers and teachers.
- Language and literacy skills are developed through one on one instruction and group activities in a classroom setting
Our Part-time Preschool 4 Program meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9am-12pm.
Our Full-time Preschool 4 Program meets Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm with optional Before and/or After Care.

Before and After School Care
Rising Sun Elementary School provides transportation to and from Kid City. While students are in our care, we give them many opportunities for fun and learning to enhance previous knowledge and discover new interests. Our qualified staff is available to assist students in completing homework before sending them home ready to rest and prepare for the next day.
